The steep distance from the hotel to the city center can be a hassle, particularly on the way back, which might not sit well with those who prefer walking. room service choices in the evening are limited, with only a few snack options available, leaving late-night cravings unfulfilled. There are also only limited dining options outdoors, with al fresco dinners only occurring a few times a week, which could feel restrictive during the summer. Lastly, the hotel’s shuttle service is absent on weekends, causing a bit of inconvenience for those looking to explore when the opportunity arises.

We had such a nice time chilling by the beautiful pools and exploring the gardens with all those plants, they’re stunning! The staff were super nice, always smiling and ready to help. Oh, the breakfast was delicious, especially those fresh pastries! Just wish there were more dining options after dinner, a bit limited for late-night snacks.

I utilized the courtesy shuttle to explore Funchal, which was efficient and saved me from the steep walk back. while the hotel has a lovely ambiance and friendly staff, some areas, especially dining choices could use more variety.

Such an amazing experience! The gardens are breathtaking, perfect for a peaceful stroll. Every meal was like a work of art, breakfast out on the terrace was my fave. Staff were super friendly & attentive, making us feel right at home. The only bummer was the pool area got a bit busy at times, but it didn't spoil the fun!
